- The product and its version (for example, DRUMHEAD 1.0.0)
- Your operating system (for example, Windows 11 64-bit)
- Your DAW and its version
- What you did, and what happened instead
If your browser blocks the download
Chrome may say the download was blocked. It is not a virus. Chrome warns automatically about files it has not seen downloaded often, which is every newly released piece of software.
- Click the download icon at the top right of Chrome
- Click the three dots next to the blocked file
- Choose Keep, or Keep dangerous file
If no Keep option appears
Chrome is set to Enhanced protection. Open chrome://settings/security, switch to Standard protection, download again, then switch back if you prefer.
Firefox and Microsoft Edge often save the file without a warning.
About differences between drum libraries
DRUMHEAD shapes the sound that is already there. It cannot create resolution or frequency content the source does not contain. Your drum library sets the ceiling.
The closer to raw the source is, and the wider its range, the more clearly you will hear what DRUMHEAD does. The demos use EZdrummer 3 and GetGood Drums Modern & Massive.
With older libraries, or with sources that already arrive processed, you will still hear a change — but where it lands stays within what the original material holds.
